Mary met Cindy met Mary over 10 years ago slinging tickets for the likes of the Rolling Stones, The Who, and Billy Joel in a small boutique ticketing agency in San Francisco. After countless concerts in dozens of cities, they found themselves in the digital gaming world of x's, o's, triangles, and squares. Through the years of many baseball games, bars and road trips, they noticed how beautiful and quirky the world is.  So they started taking pictures and AMICA photography was born.  AMICA knows what the other will order for lunch and can have a full conversation using hashtags.  One shoot, two different perspectives.

I gravitate toward taking pictures of people and what's going on around them. Much the same way I collect tattoos, concert posters, skateboards and vinyl; it's the rarity and natural detail that I look to capture. Born and raised in the Bay Area, my other half (of the same name) and I are doing our best to raise two darling minis (one of each) to be good citizens and to love Oakland A's baseball. As the designated grill master, a good IPA is usually in hand although I rarely turn down a glass of red wine. I believe dirt roads lead to interesting places...and I'm not afraid to get dusty - or shocked by an electric fence - to get the shot!

I have always loved taking pictures.  It has been a passion of mine that I have spent the last few years crafting.  All the people that really know me know that whether I am attending a special event, a friendly gathering or if it is just a random Tuesday that I will more likely than not have my camera in tow.  It is important to me to collect memories in the form of pictures.  A picture can say so much about one moment in time and evokes emotion in such a beautiful way.  I have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area all of my life and currently live only a half a mile from the house I grew up in with my High School sweetheart, our two amazing sons and our sweet kitten daughter.  My father raised me to worship the SF Giants, which is a job I have taken very seriously.  I am a Disneyland freak and watching TV is my favorite thing to do in my down time.  Bob Marley said it best when he said, "Love the life you live.  Live the life you love."  I have followed my dream of becoming a photographer and I am loving every second of it!
